Redbubble Shop Updates & new collection!

As part two to my updates of 2015 plus a round up of what I have been up to, I will talk today about my RedBubble shop! :)
Redbubble did really well over the christmas holidays and I continue to sell things daily! My most popular product is stickers, but I also sell a lot of pillows and t-shirts there too. In total I made 18 sales on RB over December. If you would like to see what I sold in December 2015, Visit my redbubble "journal post" where I have made a list of the different things I sold. Click here to see it!

Redbubble is currently my favourite POD right now. I find it a very artist friendly print on demand, not only have the staff been very helpful in any interaction I have had with them, but my work has also been featured on their social media feeds! Not only that, but the ability to set your own royalties is always a plus. Their product customization tool is great for artists, it takes very little time to add your artwork to RedBubble, giving you more time to keep making designs. :) My only complaint about RedBubble is that it is hard to share product views with your design on social media. Say I go to share a pillow, sometimes the pillow mockup doesn't get shared, only the artwork. While its great to show people your artwork, its important to me to be able to share all the products from RB with my designs on it to my social media streams! I hope they fix this in the new year.

I also purchased things from RedBubble in 2015 - a pillowcase & a laptop case, both of which were fabulously printed & a nice quality. Shipping to Canada also didn't cost me an arm and a leg, which was a plus. I keep forgetting to post a review of my laptop case, but I will do that some day!

Redbubble is my most up to date print on demand right now, and the place where you will find my most current work! I have been adding Valentines day themed products lately.. my favourite is a valentines cat typography piece that I did.... Of course! ;) It is a heart design with the text "Atleast my cat loves me" it comes in watercolour pink, and soon I will add it in a flat vector black as well! This humorous & trendy design is perfect for cat people on valentines day. I love this one in stickers & mugs... but here are the products so you can see for yourself! Enjoy!

Cat love t-shirt? yes please! This will allow you to make everyone jealous on Valentines day. You have a cat that loves you! ;) Plus the watercolour heart is a perfect for valentines pink.

This pillow is something both you and your loving cat can enjoy. This makes a cute addition to any cat lady's room! Redbubble pillows come in three huggable sizes, plus you have the option of ordering the pillow fully stuffed, or you can just order the pillowcase and save a bit on shipping!

This is the perfect sassy mug for when your friends/spouse/boyfriend/girlfriend are being less than desirable! Show them their attitude is not wanted & that you really appreciate your cats constant love. :)

Invited to any valentines day or anti-valentines day parties, but are a single lady/guy? Stuff this bag with whatever you need to enjoy the party and have fun! This bag is a great conversation piece if you are trying to find other cat people!

These studio pouches are adorable! They are great for make up, as a pencil case for school, holding all your spare catnip mice/ toys (what? you have to be prepared in case a new cat or kitten wishes to love you) or just for holding loose things in your purse! I love them. The pink in the watercolour heart looks fantastic with the gold zipper!

Hope you enjoyed this update! :) I am going to be posting about my DesignByHumans store very soon. I am also enjoying DesignByHumans a lot... I can't believe I let it sit for so long! I will update as soon as I can!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend <3 nbsp="" p="">

This Month on Zazzle and Redbubble

Today marks the end of my 2nd month on zazzle and my first month on redbubble! This month was up and down for me, for many reasons. For the most part I was really productive, I added many new designs, explored different things, did tons of research, branched out to different social media platforms and even updated my zazzle store front! But at times I felt really discouraged, despite the awesome feedback I received from friends and fellow zazzlers on my shop and items, because my shops didn't see much action this month. I added most of the designs from zazzle to redbubble, but I don't advertise my redbubble shop as much as my zazzle shop. Here are some of my noteworthy things from each store.

My Redbubble Shop

I've now been on redbubble for 1 month. Earlier in the month I noted that I get way more views on my redbubble items that I do on my zazzle store. That trend continues, even with minimal advertising off site. What I have continued to do is add my designs to groups. I add each design to maybe 1 or two zazzle groups that they appropriately fit.

Page views: 2738 Total views across 14 designs
Most viewed design: 365 views on my Red Fox and Hearts pattern
Despite the high amount of views, I have had no sales in my first month at redbubble.
A pillow from my most viewed design. I do like how redbubble groups page views by design,
but it would also be nice to see which item specifically is popular.

My Zazzle Shop

My Zazzle store has been open for 2 months now. I was very productive on zazzle, I have now designed 1,465 items, and just in time for February I have designed a brand new organized shop front! As you know I made my first sale in December, and I was really excited about that. I expected atleast one sale in January, and I started to feel a bit down when it seemed like that wouldn't happen. Just as January came to an end however, I sold my first iPad case, which means I have sold something for each month I have been on zazzle! :) That definitely boosted my spirits, as I know all the promoting I am doing isn't for nothing. Hopefully I will see this trend grow. Here are some noteworthy things from my shop this month!

Pageviews: 518 in January
Most Viewed Item: I Survived Valentines Day Pillow with 36 views
Sold In January: Illustrated Flowers & Laurel Leaves iPad air Cover

My Personal Favourite from this month: Glitter Tropical Pineapple Pillow

Another noteworthy thing I would like to mention is that 7 people "like" my shop! :) I also learned a lot this month about creating items, designing patterns in illustrator, and new vector tricks as I continue to explore different styles of digital art.
Also, completely unrelated, but I really really like the Apple Custard Tea from David's tea. I am drinking it right now and it is soo good! I just had to share this. :P
So there you have it, the highlights from my January in one blog post! It will be interesting to see what February brings.

So what was noteworthy in your first month of 2015? :)

If you find this post useful and would like me to track something in my February 2015 summary, let me know!
